Our Reggio-inspired Early Learning Program at Pebble Lane is designed to provide children aged 30 months to 5 years with rich, hands-on opportunities to explore, create, and discover at their own pace. Rooted in the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, our program emphasizes child-led learning, encouraging children to follow their natural curiosities and engage deeply in their learning experiences. Through this approach, children develop a strong sense of self-expression, independence, and confidence as they prepare for their transition to kindergarten.
Our curriculum encompasses essential academic foundations, such as mathematics, literacy, and science, presented in ways that invite curiosity and active participation. Art, music, yoga, and dance are integrated as essential elements of self-expression, fostering creativity and emotional development. The environment itself, carefully designed with natural tones and purposeful materials, acts as a “third teacher,” inspiring children to interact with the space, materials, and each other meaningfully.
Inspired by Reggio principles, we prioritize the role of family in the learning process. Communication with parents is integral, and we work together to ensure each child’s growth aligns with the family’s goals and expectations. Our use of Fun Family Phonics allows children to build early literacy skills through playful, engaging activities that encourage exploration of sounds and letters.
As children prepare for kindergarten, we introduce a workbook focused on letter formation, including writing their first and last names—providing a personalized and intentional readiness for formal schooling.
