The perfect early learning nurturing environment

Ratio: 1 teacher per 4 children

Our Infant Program at Pebble Lane is thoughtfully designed to provide a calm, responsive, and nurturing environment for children in their earliest stages of development. Infants aged 6 to 15 months are forming foundational bonds and beginning to explore the world through their senses, movement, and relationships. Our experienced caregivers offer consistent, loving care that supports each child’s unique rhythms, routines, and needs.

This early stage is marked by rapid growth in motor skills, language development, and emotional awareness. Through gentle, sensory-rich experiences—including music, movement, storytelling, and exploratory play—infants are encouraged to build secure attachments, develop emerging communication skills, and gain confidence in their environment.

Our program emphasizes respectful caregiving practices inspired by both Reggio Emilia and responsive care philosophies. Every interaction—from feeding and diapering to soothing and play—is seen as a valuable opportunity for connection, trust-building, and learning. We follow each child’s individual schedule and cues while fostering safe exploration and early autonomy.

Our learning environment is carefully prepared with natural materials, soft lighting, and open space that encourages freedom of movement, curiosity, and comfort. Whether discovering a new texture, observing the world from a caregiver’s arms, or reaching for a toy just out of grasp, infants at Pebble Lane are met with warmth, patience, and presence.

In close partnership with families, we provide thoughtful communication and daily updates that reflect each child’s progress, preferences, and experiences. We understand the importance of consistency and trust during this tender time of development and strive to ensure both infants and parents feel supported every step of the way.

Pebble Lane’s Infant Program lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning by nurturing early attachment, promoting exploration, and honoring the unique pace at which each child grows.
